Our mission is to support and promote the osteopathic profession. Our Advocate network is vast, ranging from physicians to friends to office staff. We cover the globe, creating a strong, close network of people who understand that osteopathic medicine isn't a trend or a passing fad, but the best type of medical care possible.

The 2014 AAOA Fore You Golf Tournament was a great success. In spite of the Seattle rain, wind and cold, 22 players participated. Congratulations to the University of Pikeville–Kentucky College of Osteopathic Medicine team for their 1st place win. The golf tournament has become an AAOA/AOA tradition during OMED and AAOA is grateful to the players and sponsors for their support of AAOA Special Projects.

The Donna Jones Moritsugu Award is a new program being offered in conjunction with the AOF. The partner of one graduating osteopathic medical student at each COM is honored with this award that exemplifies the role of a professional's partner—providing immeasurable support to his or her mate, family, and the osteopathic profession while maintaining their own individuality.
