Membership in the Advocates is more than simply paying annual dues. It's a commitment to promoting and supporting the profession in every way you can. Advocates are the people who are there, behind the scenes and in front of the crowd, in offices, homes, and around our communities, supporting osteopathic medicine. We are the people behind the profession.  

If you would like your membership to be billed along with a DO's annual AOA dues, please provide the name and AOA number of the DO when you check out.  

Follow Instructions below ONLY for payment of Student Advocate Association (SAA) Group Membership:

• If starting an SAA, first contact the AAOA  SAA Liaison. Fill out the New Group Membership Form and Dues Form (Excel worksheet) and return them to the AAOA.

• If paying SAA group membership dues, send in membership to the AAOA using Dues Form (Excel worksheet) and submit to aaoasaaliaison@gmail.com and advocates@advocates4dos.org.

• Select Stage of Medicine dropdown – “Student Advocate Association (SAA)”

• Next select the Donation dropdown - “No Additional Donation”

• Select the Quantity amount arrow up/down or enter the number of SAA members in your group that you are paying dues. For example, 30 members = $150. The cost will automatically be $5 per student when selecting “No Additional Donation”. When you go to the shopping cart you will confirm the subtotal amount. Confirm the total amount for the number of SAA members. For example, 30 members x $5 = $150. Proceed to check out.

• IMPORTANT: A donation amount cannot be selected when paying for the SAA group membership. If you would like to add a donation in addition to the SAA group membership dues, please go to the store and select “General Donation”, select the amount for donation, and add it to your cart.
